How to become a Member

Membership is open to anyone who owns a fishery within the Wye catchment, including tributaries such as the Monnow, Lugg, Arrow, Irfon and Ithon.

You will become part of an organisation that has a say in how the river is managed and influence the government bodies that are charged with looking after it. In addition, we are one of the first to learn of the latest news in such areas as monitoring and research.

 

Associate Member: Will receive publicity and information in relation to the WCC and river. Current Rate £0.00. No fee

applicable.

 

Full Member: Will receive publicity and information in relation to the WCC and river. Will be entitled to vote at WCC meetings and on other issues. £45.00 (for Salmon fisheries) £20.00 (for Trout, Grayling or Coarse fisheries).

 

Conservator: Full members who also contribute to the River Improvement Fund (RIF). This gives you a say in how the RIF is spent and enables you to become eligible for the WCC committee which represents the 3 divisions of the Wye catchment : Upper, Middle and Lower.

Honorary Life Member: The Committee shall have authority to elect persons to be ‘Honorary Life Members’ of the Association

​

Membership rates are fixed by the committee annually.
